We know, the rest of the world calls it Football, but we don’t want our soccer stars running out on the field during a kick-off and getting knocked into next week, so we stick with Soccer. Our Indoor Soccer team is the only co-ed team in the school, with league rules requiring at least two female players on the field at any time. We let our girls kick some butt, which is probably why we won the 2007 city championships in just our second year in the league
To all those purists who think soccer shouldn’t be played indoors, try hitting a header in Edmonton when its -40° and you’re wearing an ice mustache. Then we can talk.
