We think of our volleyball teams less as a collection of individual players and more as a finely tuned machine. Our teams learn to work with one mind, reaching out to bump, dig and set each other up for the kill. It’s this dedication to teamwork that has seen our Men’s and Women’s teams consistently compete for Edmonton Public Premier Conference bragging rights. In 2007, our Junior Women’s team took home the crown.
Leadership skills nobody can block...
Both the Junior and Senior team programs stress leadership, communication and performance and many of our alumni have gone on to stellar careers at the CIS, NCAA and Olympic levels. The season runs from September to November – find out more by emailing a coach at strathcona@epsb.ca.
