Practical. Hands-on. Real education for the real world.

Many students these days are focused on career opportunities and want to get a head start on acquiring the hands-on skills that employers demand. Career and Technology Studies offers courses in Business, Food Studies and Technical Studies, structured in 3 or 5 credit modular courses which can be combined towards the Rutherford Scholarship.

Students can explore a variety of professional areas like:

  • multimedia design
  • financial management
  • criminal law
  • culinary arts
  • woodworking
  • fluid mechanics

In addition to graduating with a full diploma and plenty of post-secondary options, students have the skills and experience to connect with employers in Alberta’s booming economy.
